2. How to report a bug
Email info@driftmothgames.com with as much of the following as you can share:
- Game name and version (QuizSwipe, version shown in the app’s Settings screen)
- Device model (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S24, iPad Air M2)
- Operating-system version (e.g. iOS 18.2, Android 14)
- Description of the issue
- Steps to reproduce
- Screenshots or a short screen recording, if possible
We respond within 48 hours on weekdays.
3. Common issues
I purchased ad removal but I’m still seeing ads
Open the app and tap Settings → Restore Purchases. This re-validates your purchase with Apple or Google. If ads still appear after a restore, email info@driftmothgames.com with your device model and the receipt number from Apple or Google (visible in your account’s purchase history).
My streak reset unexpectedly
Streaks are tracked locally and synced to the leaderboard when you have an internet connection. If a round ended while offline, the streak may not have saved. Killing the app mid-round, force-quitting during the answer animation, or clearing app storage can also drop a streak. If none of those apply, please email us a screenshot and the approximate date/time — we can often restore from analytics.
A question seems wrong or outdated
The question database is fact-checked but not perfect. Email info@driftmothgames.com with the category, the question text, and a source for the correct answer. We review every correction report and update the database in the next content drop.
The app crashes on startup
First try: force-quit the app, restart the device, and reopen. If it still crashes, uninstall and reinstall the app (your local progress will re-sync from the 4-digit device code if you set one up). If crashes persist, email us the output of Settings → Report a Problem; we receive automatic crash traces from Firebase Crashlytics which usually pinpoint the issue.
I can’t see the leaderboard
The leaderboard requires an internet connection. On iOS you must also be signed in to Apple Game Center (Settings → Game Center); on Android, to Google Play Games (Play Store → Menu → Play Games). If you’re signed in and the leaderboard is still blank, it may be a temporary sync delay — it usually catches up within a few minutes.
4. In-app purchases (IAP)
- Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) depending on your device.
- A receipt is sent to the email associated with your Apple ID or Google account — that’s your record of purchase.
- To restore purchases on a new device: open the app, sign in with the same Apple ID / Google account, and tap Settings → Restore Purchases.

- Refund approval is at Apple’s or Google’s discretion per their respective policies.
5. Account and data deletion
- QuizSwipe has no account system. All gameplay data is stored locally on your device.
- To delete all local QuizSwipe data: uninstall the app, or clear its storage in your device settings (iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → QuizSwipe → Offload App; Android: Settings → Apps → QuizSwipe → Storage → Clear Data).
- For analytics data collected by Firebase Analytics (aggregated, not linked to you personally), email info@driftmothgames.com — we will submit a deletion request to Google on your behalf.

6. Accessibility
- The app honours system-level accessibility settings (text size, Bold Text, Reduce Motion on iOS; TalkBack and similar on Android).
- If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email info@driftmothgames.com with details. We treat accessibility reports as high priority.

- Driftmoth Games does not sell data, does not share data with advertisers beyond what Google AdMob requires to serve ads, and does not track you across other apps.
